1 unfurnished room in a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom fully furnished townhouse. Bus stop 80m walk, goes direct to Fortitude Valley, CBD etc. Can walk to QUT Kelvin Grove.
$150 ($145 + $5 for unlimited adsl2+) per week paid 2 weeks in advance. Bond is $600. Electricity bills are extra split 3 ways.
The room is 2.8 x 2.8m and has a builtin 2.2 x 0.6m wardrobe. It is carpeted, has a ceiling fan and large north-east facing window, so lots of morning light and no western afternoon heat. It is quite elevated and looks out to Herston and Hamilton hill through the two large trees on site.
There is a bathroom with separate toilet that you will share with one other person. The 3rd housemate has his own ensuite. There is also another toilet downstairs so no clashes or waiting for showers here.
Downstairs there is an open plan living area with dining, fully equip kitchen and a lounge with recliners and Technics stereo/42" tv/aircon. Outside is a tiled and astro turfed area that is surrounded by gardens and trees. This continues down the side of the house and doesn't feel boxed in with views to Hamilton hill. Laundry is under the stairs and leads out to large washing line.
Parking is on the street as garage is occupied. The complex only contains 5 townhouses; it isn't a gated community and is very quiet. Our neighbours are older ladies, never had any trouble with them as always practice common courtesy and respect.
You will be living with 2 other males, one is 26 y/o architect working in Fortitude Valley. The other is 22 y/o UQ psychology student. We are looking for someone in a similar age, professional or student who is social but respectful. We like having smaller gatherings 5-6 people max, not huge parties as can't accommodate that. We hang out together a lot to play ps3 and watch movies/shows, go outside to have beers and get Mexican food from down the road. We are very clean and prefer someone who is also very clean and minimalist as there is no storage for extra stuff outside of the room and linen cupboard. The photos included are how we keep the place day-to-day, we didn't clean up specifically to take the photos.
